There has been complete lack of response to many of the emergencies by this administration. The president will usually let the situation develop, review the response from various media sources and then finally after days if not weeks after a crisis respond to it as if the event had just taken place.
This has been the standard practice of this administration and continues to impact the U.S. response time in emergency situations. If this administration continues to practice the response this way, worrying more about what the public will view it as and not about what needs to be taken care of immediately it could cost not only more taxpayer dollars but the lives of Americans when the government waits to respond due to political impact fears.
